Feb 10 2009: Enthusiasm was at fever pitch at the EFT Gathering in January.
“The atmosphere was fantastic and through the breaks there was a constant hum of sharing and networking,” said organiser Gwyneth Moss. “The enthusiasm was palpable.”
The 120 or so attendees at the Gathering, held at the Craiglands Hotel, Ilkley, heard discussions by 20 practitioners on many various aspects of EFT, while Training Panel leaders John Bullough and June Spencer stimulated a lively discussion on all things AAMET.
“I was delighted that what was just a vision six month’s previously become reality,” Gwyneth added. “Many of the speakers were new to presenting to such a big audience but they all did an excellent job.”
Afterward it was strictly salsa as the room full of tappers showed off their best moves to music from a 10-piece band, and a fund-raising collection raised nearly £400 for AAMET.
Everyone gave their time for free and the hotel offered very generous rates at this not-for-profit event, which Gwyneth aims to run on the same basis in future.
