August 20 2010: Intrepid tappers Caroline Rolling and Fiona Smith have recently returned from Bosnia, where they volunteered their services to help those traumatised by the civil war.
“Time has simply flown by since we first thought of applying to the charity, Healing Hands Network,” reports Caroline.
“We stayed in Sarajevo for two weeks where we used our experience in Matrix Remprinting and EFT to help people begin to let go of the effects of terrible traumas they experienced.
“We witnessed some amazing results and it was a joy to work with such remarkable people who all welcomed us with open arms.
“Our time there was hard work, emotional and fun. The charity is always in need of volunteers, but it’s no picnic and it’s important that practitioners gain experience in working with trauma before volunteering, and also deal with their own issues.
“However, once you’re ready, it will possibly be the most rewarding thing you will ever do.
“Thanks to everyone who supported us in taking Matrix Reimprinting to Bosnia, you have helped 16 people and their families live happier lives.”
The Healing Hands Network uses complementary therapies to help traumatised victims of war and disaster to rebuild their lives, and welcomes enquiries from qualified practitioners interested in volunteering their skills and time to support its work.
