July 17 2009: Helena Fone, an AAMET Level 3 practitioner and trainer, has
been appointed vice chair of AAMET.
She has nothing but praise for the Management Team, Ethics Committee and Training Panel leaders who have contributed their time and effort in bringing about strategic changes.
“Regretfully some members of the Training Panel had to resign and they will be missed,” she said. “But it’s important to build on the good work done so far and produce an Association that members are proud to belong to.”
Helena will be attending the EFT Masterclass on 10/11 October to outline the exciting future of AAMET and to answer any questions from members.
Tam Llewellyn said: “The vice chair is the senior executive post in AAMET, and I am happy to return to my non-executive task as Chairman. I give Helena my full support in her new role and stand to help her where I can in anyway I can. I am confident she will do a great job.
“Let us all pull together in support of Helena as she moves AAMET forward to even greater things. Consequential changes will be announced in the coming weeks by the new vice chair and she will be sending out a survey to all trainers to assess the ideas of the membership as to the future path of the AAMET.”
