August 8 2009: A peer group for EFT tappers has been established in south London and Surrey.
The South London & Surrey Tappers meet monthly in Sanderstead near Croydon.
“It’s a chance for EFT practitioners to meet with fellow tappers,” says Carrie Graham, who set up the group. “Everyone working in the area is invited. They will have the opportunity to meet others in the field, work on personal issues or client difficulties, practice borrowing benefits and get invaluable supportive feedback.”
Carrie set up the group in November 2008. “A couple of us met at another mentoring group and thought it would be very worthwhile and helpful to continue to have peer support,” she says.
We usually take it in turns to be practitioner and client, while others observe, and also share AAMET news or new ways of working that we’ve learnt at other EFT courses. We hope that as the group grows participants will be able to practise Borrowing Benefits in preparation for talks they are giving, see many more ways of working to develop their skills and discuss material from EFT and other relevant DVDs.”
“We’re a small, friendly group and we enjoy having a laugh as well as learning.”
The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday September 2 between 7.00-9.00pm. The venue is just a short bus ride from Sanderstead railway station, which can be reached from both London Victoria and London Bridge stations.
