Feb 13 2009: In its latest
update, the AAMET Training Panel is calling for practitioners and
trainers to help continue the work that it has put in over recent months.
As well as asking for trainers to volunteer their time in pilot studies on the proposed Level 2 and 3 competencies, the panel is also seeking help with the development of the new trainers of trainers certification process.
In addition, the panel also wants to hear from anyone with a secretarial or administrative background in relation to exemptions under the regulation and guidelines, as well as from those with a background in organisational management, organisational administration, or strategic planning to help with AAMET’s medium to long term strategy.
“We’ve made good progress over the past few months,” said John Bullough, who currently heads the Training Panel. “Just one or two hours per week or even per month from volunteers could really help to take us into the next phase.”
Anyone with a query or who wishes to volunteer their services can contact the Training Panel directly or via EmotionalBuzz.
