How does The Balance Procedure work?

“At one of our recent workshops that Jenny and I really enjoyed we had that question: how does The Balance Procedure work?” writes Alan Cox.

by Alan Cox

“Some delegates at the workshop had quite an advanced knowledge of The Balance Procedure and many knew absolutely nothing, which made for an interesting day.

“I had to remind myself to remember to ask everyone who I interacted with what their knowledge of The Balance Procedure was and arrange my response appropriately. I feel this is an important point for all of us to consider when sharing this wonderful technique.

“By understanding others’ knowledge we are able to assess what we ourselves know and understand. I was asked what actually happens when you ‘Balance’. I started to explain how to do The Balance Procedure and the person I was talking to said no, not how to Balance but what do I think actually happens within. This question has got me thinking – is there an easy explanation or even a complicated one?

“In all honesty I don’t know. I do know it works as attested by the many testimonials we receive and the evidence of how I personally feel, but how does TBP actually work.

“I feel the best way to approach this is to go step by step through how to Balance. Using the cards and book or the App, we take one card at a time, Balance until we move forward on each card individually and then all nine cards together. We call this tuning in the cards and I believe we introduce the card through the Balance Centre and into our sub-conscious and these images and intentions will stay in our memories as the sub-conscious recognises the geometrical shapes much easier than words.

“You only have to observe motorway signs: the square, the circle and the triangle. Gameboy toys also use these shapes instead of left, right stop and go. Symbols in advertising is another example of the use of symbols. Tuning TBP cards is a powerful and unique way to influence your sun-conscious thoughts and beliefs. After you have Tuned in your cards, Balance daily with no particular thoughts as this will reinforce the Tuning process and after a few days you can then start to bring in your visualization of what you want to attract to yourself.

“Visualisation has been used for centuries and these days many sports professionals employ physiologists to assist in reaching their goals. There are also many other techniques that use this powerful tool.

“In TBP we use visualisation as a way of spiking our energy systems, by placing the red square card on the balance centre we send the message ‘I am powerful and successful’ and at the same time we visualise ourselves becoming more powerful and successful. This has an impact on our sub-conscious which maybe a negative response to an earlier memory.

“The greatest strength of TBP is there is no need to know what that negative memory or feeling is. The fact we have moved backwards lets us know something is alive in us now. This feeling of something being alive in us is spiked by our visualising and as we Balance many negative thoughts and self-limiting beliefs simply float away. This to me is the secret to what happens when we Balance and is what makes TBP such an extraordinary technique, to be able to chip away at all these self-limiting beliefs is truly remarkable.

“I was also asked whether deep rooted traumas or depression can be cleared and what visualisation would I use. My advice is to keep the visuals small and manageable to start. For depression I would suggest picturing a feeling of peace and serenity. Keeping the pictures manageable will enable the sub-conscious to chip away at the deeper issues and can be a calming feeling and surprisingly effective way of working.”
